There's an open invitation from the wine-producers
here in Abruzzo to all the wine-lovers and nature-lovers out there, to come and have a look around the lovely landscapes, to get a glimpse of the age-old culture which inspires all our wine-makers, men and ladies alike, to enjoy a nice day out in the country, with the lovely landscape of the vineyards all around. It's a wonderful way to spend your leisure time, going from the blue seas of the Adriatic and the rolling green hills, patterned all over with vines and olive-groves, reaching up to the slopes of Mount Gran Sasso and Mount Maiella, winding through the little villages, the imposing castles, the nature parks. But it's also a trip through the vineyards will be a real delight to the senses: just imagine all the changing colours and hues of the vines, the sigh of those wooden casks gleaming softly in the cellars, the scents and tastes of the best wines in Abruzzo, and the magical tales of the wine-producers, when they show you how their wines are made, how they are kept.
